Synopsis

After San Francisco attorney Kate Wilson gets a call from David, her high school sweetheart who’s been arrested for murder, she returns to her Northern California hometown to defend him. There, she reconnects with family and old friends, whom she’s neglected over the years. As the trial begins, Kate finds she and David still have feelings for each other and that everyone in their hometown now hates him.
